Eva was born out of a personal challenge faced by our founder: reducing the isolation experienced by his father and helping him manage his medication routine more effectively. With limited vision and discomfort with modern technology, his father found it difficult to stay engaged and maintain his health independently. Recognizing these struggles, our founder envisioned an AI solution that could provide companionship and practical support through simple phone calls.

 

Designed with a dual focus, Eva not only engages users in friendly, human-like conversations but also monitors both physical and mental health changes. By asking subtle, well-structured questions, Eva gathers valuable information about the user's well-being. This data is then used to generate detailed reports for carers, ensuring they have the most up-to-date information about their patients' health. This comprehensive support system enables carers to focus on more critical tasks, knowing that Eva is consistently monitoring and reporting on the users' condition.

 

It quickly became evident that Eva could benefit many others facing similar challenges. As the population ages and the number of available carers continues to decline, innovative solutions like Eva are essential. By providing consistent check-ins and self-help guidance, Eva helps users maintain their independence and well-being longer, potentially delaying the need for more expensive and intensive care. The simplicity of phone-based interactions makes Eva accessible to everyone, regardless of their comfort with technology, ensuring that no one is left without the support they need.

 

With Eva, we aim to transform the care landscape, offering a cost-effective, scalable solution that enhances the quality of life for users while alleviating the burden on carers and healthcare providers. By bridging the gap between technological innovation and compassionate care, Eva is poised to make a significant impact on the well-being of countless individuals.

Why did we build Eva

Cost-effective

The average cost of care in the home is £28 per hour, this forces tough decisions on the provision of care, calls to Eva cost pennies in comparison and can provide a vital link to patient needs and reduce burdens on care staff ensuring the right level of care is in place at the right time.

Eva is trained to support those with simple needs and escalate any concerns quickly, we truly value the work of care staff and don't see Eva as a replacement to the human touch.

We also understand the huge burden placed on carers, and see Eva as a vital link and triaging option to ensure the right care level is in place whilst alleviating the burden on carers for simple care needs
